What happens when you cancel
Truth-first. No surprises.
- Your paid access continues until the end of your current billing period. No mid-cycle cutoff. The exact date is shown on the Stripe portal screen at step 3.
- Your @screenname stays yours. No one else can claim it. Mail to
you@ummah.emailkeeps forwarding to your existing inbox at no charge. - Your UmmahPass account, points balance, and ummah.me profile are preserved. OAuth login across the ecosystem still works.
- Your points multiplier drops to 0.5× for future earnings. Existing points are not deducted.
- If you had a full inbox (Ummah One or higher), webmail and IMAP/SMTP access end at the period close. Forwarding stays active.
- No prorated refund by default — but if something feels off, just reply to salaam@ummahmediagroup.com and we'll make it right. We don't make people fight for one.
Three ways to step back
All three are one-click in your dashboard — no payment-portal redirect, no friction.
Pause — for 1, 2, or 3 months
Billing freezes. Your inbox keeps working. Auto-resumes when you choose. No charge during pause.
Downgrade — switch to a smaller tier
Free → Ummah One → Family. Applies right away; unused balance from your current tier credits to your next invoice.
Cancel — runs through your current billing period
No charge today. Full access until your renewal date. Then your @ummah.email keeps forwarding to your existing inbox, free, forever.
What you'll see when you click
All three actions live on your dashboard at ummahpass.io/dashboard. The "Manage subscription" card opens this:

Coming back later?
Sign in, hit /upgrade, and you're back on the same @screenname. We don't punish people for leaving and returning. That's not how amanah works.
Stuck? Just reply.
A real person — usually Tab or Alisha — will answer within a working day. If you want a refund, ask. We don't make people fight for one.
